The Car Market (formally Kings Cross Car Market) is now based in Wooloomooloo. Local residents and particularly car dealers are not allowed to sell in the Car Market, it's only for backpackers. Every vehicle for sale in the Car Market has an Inspection Report/Roadworthy Certificate/MOT/Pink Slip which tells you how safe it is to drive and lists any repairs required.
